Setup instructions

1) Sit on a bench with upright back support and plant your feet on the floor - chest up, back flat, core tight and head neutral.

2) Grab the barbell with a wide overhand grip and place it behind your head.

Perform instructions

1) Slowly extend your arms and push upwards. Keep a slight bend in the elbows as you reach the top.

2) Pause then slowly lower to the starting position.

3) Repeat for required reps

NB. Be very careful with shoulder flexibility and stability before performing this exercise.
