Lie down or sit in a chair with and place one hand on your chest and one hand on your stomach. Ensure that your back is supported and your feet are firmly on the floor. Breath as you would normally for a minute.
Step 1: Breathe in slowly to the count of 4.
Step 2: Hold your breath for 4 seconds.
Step 3: Slowly exhale to the count of 4.
Step 4: Wait for 4 seconds
Go back to step 1 and repeat.
